The corporate world recently went through a pandemic followed by a great resignation. And now the trend is about quitting quietly. Well, where are we heading for?
On the one hand, we talk about productivity, peak performance, and being fully engaged in work. And on the other hand, we are filling people’s minds with terms like quitting.
For those who’ve read my book tired Achieve Unstoppable Success in any economy, you must have come across this FME pyramid.-(Full Mind Engagement).
The FME concept is based on the science of the brain, and I have taught this FME pyramid to numerous leaders in companies. And quiet quitting can be very well understood through this pyramid.
So the pyramid has three layers.
The people who operate at the bottom of the pyramid are the ones who love quit quitting. It’s a savior for them. They will remain ordinary people.
Then comes the middle of the pyramid. Now, that’s where you will find something interesting. These are the people who stand a 50–50 chance of choosing quiet quitting.
And then people at the top of the pyramid, well, they are the ones who would never opt or even think about quitting.
So the question you need to ask yourself is, where would you place yourself and your team on this pyramid?
The answer to this question will tell you how many so-called quiet quitters are around you.
I always say quiet quitting is excellent. It’s a great trend for people who want to remain average at work. It can harm your career more than it can help anyone succeed.
